One round, three postcodes, one set of figures. Monster Cleaning Wembley covers HA9, HA0 and the Kenton end of HA3, and a bedroom carpet costs £36 in a 1930s semi off the Harrow Road, £36 in a maisonette at Chalkhill and £36 on the eighth floor of a block off Olympic Way. Six areas, each with a page of its own, and a minute spent on the right one is usually a minute saved on the phone.
Where we are most weeks
| Area | Postcode | What we mostly do there |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyngton | HA9 | Move out cleans, ovens, stair carpet, everything booked round the fixture calendar |
| Preston | HA9 | Weekly housework, old enamel bathrooms, two flights where the loft has been done |
| North Wembley | HA0 | Room changeovers in shared houses, ovens, key safes held by the agent |
| Sudbury | HA0 | Deep cleans, extended semis, long kitchens running out the back |
| Alperton | HA0 | Ovens on a six month cycle, autumn deep cleans, canal-side flats |
| Kenton | HA3 | Fixed weekly slots, move outs on long family lets, two sets of parking rules |
The postcode never changes the figure
A single oven is £77 in all six. Move out cleans run the same scale everywhere, £156 for a studio through to £425 for four bedrooms, housework stays at £23 per cleaner per hour weekly and £24 fortnightly, and a deep clean opens at £186. One off work carries a £67 minimum, which most jobs clear anyway. The prices page carries the lot, and the services page says what each job gets through.
If your street is not up there
These six are where the van goes most weeks rather than a boundary drawn on a map. Work comes in from Stonebridge and Harlesden across the North Circular, from the Wembley Park and Civic Centre end, from South Kenton and Northwick Park, and from Perivale beyond Alperton, and we take all of it. Ring 020 8077 3609 with the road name and you get a straight answer on the call.
Two things decide the morning, rather than the price
The first is the stadium. Brent runs special event-day parking controls whenever the ground or the arena has something on, those controls beat the normal residents’ permits, and they stretch further out than the map in your head does. Anything in HA9 therefore gets checked against the fixture calendar before a time is confirmed, and what comes back is usually an early start or a different day.
The second is the lift. North of the stadium the blocks run on concierge sign-in and timed goods-lift slots, so give us the block name and the managing agent and we reserve the lift a day ahead, keeping the whole of a two hour booking for the cleaning. South and west of the centre the problem inverts: a semi with an extension on the back, where the only question is how much extra floor the extension adds to the visit.
Getting to us, and getting round
The round is easy to reach without a van, which matters for the rota more than it matters for you. Wembley Park sits on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines, Wembley Central takes the Bakerloo, the Lioness line and London Northwestern, Wembley Stadium station runs Chiltern trains into Marylebone, and Alperton and Sudbury Town are both on the Piccadilly. What that buys you is an early start on a road the buses reach. Tell us the time you want and we will confirm a slot that fits it.
The water is the one constant
Thames Water supplies this whole patch very hard, and that shows up on a shower screen within a couple of years, on a kettle element sooner, and on the chrome of a bath mixer long before the tap itself wears out. Descaling is the job people most often ask us to sort out on a first visit. It has never been a separate line on an invoice here. It is also why a move out clean carries extra time for a bathroom nobody has touched since the last tenancy, and why the rinse gets softened before the extraction machine goes over a pale wool pile.
Book alongside a neighbour
A short notice slot is nearly always a trip that was happening anyway. If somebody next door or over the road wants something doing the same morning, say so, because one unloading point serves two jobs and both households wait less. In a managed block it means one lift booking instead of two, which the building manager will thank you for. It also clears the £67 minimum once rather than twice, and on a small carpet job that is the difference between £67 and £36.
Questions we get asked
Are prices the same in every area?
Yes. One list covers the whole round, so a bedroom carpet is £36 in Tokyngton and £36 in Kenton, whichever side of an HA9, HA0 or HA3 line you are on.
My street is not on the list. Can you still come?
Usually. The area pages cover where we are most weeks rather than a boundary, and we pick up work around Stonebridge, Harlesden, South Kenton, Northwick Park and Perivale. Ring with the road name and we answer on the call.
Which areas can you get to quickest?
North Wembley and Sudbury, because they sit on the same trip west out of the centre. Tokyngton takes the most arranging on a busy weekend, since the event-day controls run through it and the lift bookings in the newer blocks need a day’s notice.
Why do you ask which block I live in?
Because the goods lift has to be reserved with the building manager and the concierge needs to sign us in. Give us the block name and the managing agent and we make that booking, so the full two hour slot goes on cleaning.
