Thames Water supplies this end of HA0 very hard, and in a flat let to a run of tenants nobody descales in between, so a screen and a set of taps arrive with a couple of years of film on them. Acid gel and a wait fixes it. A green pad does not, and it will scratch the chrome while it fails. Descaling is inside the price on every job we take here.

Getting the van in

Ealing Road carries a shopping parade and a bus corridor the length of it, so the van comes in off a side street. In the canal-side blocks we book the lift and the sign-in the day before, so nobody waits in the lobby.
