Every figure Monster Cleaning Wembley charges is on this page. They hold in a 1930s semi off the Harrow Road, in a maisonette at Chalkhill and on the eighth floor of a block off Olympic Way alike, and they are what you pay rather than a number designed to get us through the door. Anything odd about a job comes up at the booking, not on the morning.

End of tenancy

The whole property. Units done inside and out and behind the plinth, bathrooms taken back through the scale, skirtings and door tops, floors at the end. The oven is not in the figure. Size sets the price rather than hours, so an unusually large two bedroom costs what a small one costs and the overrun is our cost. Carpet cleaning

Hot water extraction, walkable in roughly two hours, dry underneath by morning. Two receptions knocked into one count as a through lounge at £61 rather than two rooms, which comes up constantly in the HA0 semis. A staircase turning at a half landing is one flight at £41, the landing is £9 more, and a loft conversion makes two. Thames Water supplies this patch very hard, so the rinse gets softened and neutralised as standard and a wool pile dries without a chalky bloom in it. Oven cleaning

Per appliance. A two oven AGA at £143 must be stone cold on arrival, so shut it down the night before. Shelves and trays come out and go into a soak while the cavity, the door glass and the seals get hand work in your kitchen. A double counts as one appliance, and a built-in single with a grill compartment inside it counts as a single. Add a ceramic hob for £23, a gas hob for £28 or an extractor for £28 to the same visit. Regular cleaning

Four hours weekly is £92, and three is the shortest visit worth sending anybody out for. Ironing is £12 an hour and goes on top of the cleaning, so three hours of housework with an hour of ironing makes a four hour visit. One off deep clean

A team service, separate from the weekly visit. £26 per cleaner per hour, two cleaners over three hours as the floor, and £30 for machines and detergents, which puts the smallest sensible booking at £186. Provide your own machine and materials and the £30 comes off. The rest of the arithmetic, the working shown, sits on the deep clean page. Upholstery and curtains

Counted by the piece rather than the room or the hour. Two seater sofa £57, armchair £33, mattress £35, dining chair £13, curtains £35 for a short drop and £42 for a long one. Corner units and larger sofas get priced on the call once we know the shape and the fabric, because a three seater with loose backs is a different afternoon from a fixed two seater. Leather takes a cleaner and a conditioner instead of a machine.

Minimum charge

£67 on one off work. Most jobs clear it without anyone noticing, though a single carpeted bedroom at £36, a lone armchair, or one room in a shared house booked on its own would land on it. Hourly regular cleaning is exempt from it, though that work has a floor of its own: three hours, or £69 on a weekly visit.

What every booking includes

The call to the building manager that reserves your goods lift, and the concierge sign-in that goes with it. A check of the stadium fixture calendar before any HA9 slot is confirmed. Descaling in every bathroom, which in water this hard is most of what a bathroom takes. And, on a move out, a return visit inside 48 hours where an inventory clerk has queried something we cleaned.

Two things priced separately

Where a street needs a visitor permit or paid parking, that is charged only then and at actual cost, as our terms explain. A property needing far more than a standard move out is priced by the hour as a deep clean instead, and you hear which applies on the phone.

Questions we get asked

When do I pay, and how?

Half up front to book the slot, paid by card or bank transfer at least a day before. Regular work is set up when we speak. Landlords and letting agents are invoiced direct.

Can the price change once you see the property?

Only where the job is materially different from what you described, and then you hear before we start rather than after. On a move out clean the fixed price holds for normal living wear, and the carpets and oven are quoted on top.

How do lift bookings and event days fit in?

Reserving the goods lift with the building manager and checking the fixture calendar before we confirm an HA9 slot are both part of the booking. An event day can move your start time or your date, while the quoted price stays exactly where it was.
